The research revealed that the difference between success and failure for a team was not dependent on factors such as intellect, but more on behaviour. They identified nine clusters of behaviours that were critical to the success of a team - the nine Belbin Team Roles.

The Sad Passing of Dr Meredith Belbin, Legendary Pioneer of Team Role Theory

Belbin Limited is saddened to announce the passing of its inspirational founder, Dr Raymond Meredith Belbin, who died peacefully at home surrounded by his family aged 98 years old.
